Judge dislikes Head Const’s salute, orders 7-day training
Jaipur: An unusual incident has come to light in Jalore. Head Constable Poonmaram, who had appeared before district court in connection with a case, failed to salute judge properly. The improper salute did not go unnoticed, and district court immediately reported the matter to the Range IG of Pali.
As a result, Jalore’s SP has directed that Head Constable Poonmaram be sent to the police lines for 7 days of training to learn the salute. The inspector at police lines has been instructed to train Poonmaram in proper salute etiquette for next seven days.
