Chouhan lauds CAZRI’s role in Agri sector
Jodhpur: Union Minister for Agriculture, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, arrived in Jodhpur for a two-day visit with his family. After reaching Umed Bhawan, he visited the CAZRI Complex, where he was warmly welcomed by Director OP Yadav and his team.
Chouhan expressed admiration for the lush greenery and thriving plant nurseries at the National-level Agricultural Research Center. Director Yadav briefed him on research activities focused on crops like ber, pomegranate, and other agricultural produce, with Chouhan showing keen interest in the center’s work.
Along with Jodhpur MLA Atul Bhansali and BJP leader Chelaram Saran, Chouhan later departed for Delhi to attend a program related to the Swamitva Scheme via video conference. However, the event was canceled due to the passing of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
Chouhan was accompanied by his wife, Sadhna Singh Chouhan, throughout the visit.
