First India News launches ‘Mera Sheher Traffic Jam Free’ Campaign to ease city congestion

Jaipur: In a bid to tackle the growing traffic congestion in the city, First India News has launched a new campaign called “Mera Sheher Traffic Jam Free.” The campaign’s poster was unveiled on Friday at the First India News office, with Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic) Yogesh Dadhich and First India News CEO & Managing Editor Pawan Arora present for the launch. During the event, Dadhich praised the campaign, expressing the traffic police’s full support in working alongside First India to make the city free from traffic jams.

Pawan Arora highlighted the urgency of the issue, noting that traffic congestion has become a major problem in large cities, with people wasting one- third of their lives stuck in jams. The campaign encourages citizens to share information about traffic jams by calling or sending videos via WhatsApp to 91161-59650 or calling 0141-4156184. The traffic police will then be notified to address the issue immediately.

The launch event was also attended by senior editor Jinendra Singh Shekhawat, Digital Head Shishir Awasthi, and Associate Editor Shweta Mishra Awasthi. The campaign’s tagline encourages everyone to take small steps to create significant change, ensuring no one is stuck in traffic for hours again.
