THE WINNER! ONE NATION ONE LEADER

The single line message of BJP’s enthusiastic and impressive victory in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh only indicates that now Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular face is the only game changer asset with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Notably, all the Hindi heartland Assembly polls were fought on the popular face of Narendra Modi and it has given its dividends. By sidelining and overruling the traditional concept of bringing a regional face to win the elections, Narendra Modi has completely demolished this theory of old guards in the saffron party. Now this election is being considered as an opinion poll or a semi-final for upcoming 2024 general elections, where Modi is all set to make a hat-trick of victories.

In Madhya Pradesh, there were apprehensions, till few months prior to polls, that BJP may lose in the state. Moreover, in neighbouring Chhattisgarh too it was largely believed that BJP’s chances of overthrowing Baghel government were bleak. However, as they say — cometh the hour, cometh the man — PM Narendra Modi’s entry in the electoral sphere completely turned the game in favour of the saffron party and what BJP lost in 2018, it gained in a much celebrated style in 2023! This also indicates that in spite of their best efforts, I.N.D.I.A and especially Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have not been able to find any suitable alternative to Narendra Modi!
