Shekhawat slams Cong’s appeasement politics
Jodhpur: Union Jal Shakti Minister and BJP candidate, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat strongly criticised Congress leaders’ statements favoring minorities’ rights to the country’s resources, calling it appeasement politics.
Shekhawat highlighted Congress’s historical policies and recent manifesto, alleging a focus on vote-bank politics. He defended PM Modi’s development initiatives and criticised Congress for their lack of poverty eradication during their 55-year rule. Shekhawat expressed confidence in BJP’s prospects in Jodhpur, citing Prime Minister Modi’s achievements and public support.
Concerned about declining voter turnout, he emphasised the importance of democracy and urged increased voter participation to preserve the dignity of democracy.
