Raje emphasises non-violence at Jain Gyaan Ganga Mahotsav

Udaipur: Former CM Vasundhara Raje stated that core principle of Jainism is a life free from violence. “However, violence is not limited to physical harm or weapons; it also includes causing emotional pain, breaking someone’s heart, or tormenting someone’s soul,” she was speaking at Jain Gyaan Ganga Mahotsav at Rishabhdev Temple, where Jain saint Acharya Pulak Sagar Maharaj was present. She recited a poetry: “I wish for rain that drowns ego, brings down walls of discord, shatters arrogance, melts mountains of anger, buries hatred forever, and transforms ‘I’ into ‘we’.”

Former CM Raje also expressed deep sorrow at the passing of Salumbar MLA Amrit Meena, visiting his home to convey her condolences. She noted that BJP has suffered a significant loss with death of a popular leader who was a staunch advocate for the upliftment of tribals and always dedicated to raising their voice.
