Jodhpur: The name of Mian Ka Bara Halt Railway Station in Samdari Tehsil of Barmer district adjoining Pakistan has been changed to Mahesh Nagar Halt. A launch ceremony was also held on this occasion, which was attended by Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Choudhary and Rajya Sabha MP Rajendra Gehlot.

Shekhawat said there was a demand of the villagers to change the name of the railway station for a long time and now it has has been changed so people are happy.
