On the occasion of Dussehra, the trailer of the web series "Adi Shankaracharya" was launched in the presence of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

The tremendous teaser of the web series "Adi Shankaracharya" based on the life of India's great national leader and thinker Sri Adi Shankaracharya was launched in Bengaluru on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra in the presence of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji. Grand sets are visible in the one-minute trailer, VFX is visible. Such incidents have been shown that how a great thinker saves the country from being divided into pieces.

The voice over heard in the teaser is something like this, "India divided into more than 300 pieces, more than 72 sects trying to destroy the Sanatan culture... and a child with a dream of nation-building in his eyes."

When India was divided into hundreds of pieces, with different sects fighting bloody battles for supremacy, Adi Shankaracharya travelled the entire country on foot and wove it into a cultural fabric that still holds this nation together. The traditions and institutions he established are still flourishing and all this in a very short life of 32 years. His intellect, conviction and literary genius were unparalleled. In many ways, he has been the architect of India's cultural renaissance.
The series is a soulful tribute to the great Adi Shankaracharya. Season one will have 10 episodes of around 40 minutes each, covering the first 8 years of his life.

Writer-director of the series, Omkar Nath Mishra, presented by Art of Living under the banner of Sri Sri Publications Trust and ONM Multimedia, says that the epic of Indian cultural history “Adi Shankaracharya” is the biography of India's greatest hero Adi Shankaracharya, who not only convinced the 72 conflicting sects with his immense knowledge and philosophy, but also united India divided into more than 300 pieces at the ideological level in such a way that no one could attack India for the next 200 years. Sri Adi Shankaracharya did the great work of binding the country from south to north and west to east in an eternal thread. People will come to know about the great life and works of Sri Shankaracharya through this series.
Many famous faces of the TV world have worked in this series. The character of child Adi Shankaracharya in the series is played by Arnab Khanijo. Big and established television actors like Suman Gupta, who played the role of Devaki in Sony TV's show Yashomati Maiya, Gagan Malik, who played the role of Ram in Zee TV's show Ramayan, will be seen in it. Bollywood actor Manish Wadhwa will be seen in the lead role in the next season of this web series. Apart from this, dozens of stars including Sandeep Mohan, Yogesh Mahajan, Pratyaksh Bhatnagar Saxena, Vinay Pandey, Rajiv Ranjan, Arun Shekhar, Sugandha Srivastava have acted.

The first season of "Adi Shankaracharya" web series will be released on Art of Living OTT on November 1.
