THE GRAND CORONATION

Miss Teen Diva 2022 is India’s largest teen pageant and a national qualifier for the world’s most renowned pageants, including Miss Teen International, Miss Teen Universe, Miss Teen Earth, and Miss Teen Multinational.

Not only do pageants infuse immense confidence in women; but they also serve as a fine example of women empowering women.

Sejal Gupta was crowned Miss Teen International India by Mannat Siwach, with Karemma Khan bagging the Miss Teen World India title by Rabia Hora, Trishna Ray bagging the Miss Teen Universe India title by Brunda Yerra, Kashish Goswami winning the Miss Teen Grand India title by Mahika Biyani, Parineeta Bakshi was crowned the first runners up by Milan Kumari Panda and Anvita Sundaram was crowned the second runners up by Cherisha Chanda. The evening witnessed various subtitles and zonal-level awards too.

The jury panel that included, Divija Gambhir, Praachi Nagpal, Sweety Pala, Ngoc Gia Han, Asmita Chakraborty, Arshina Sumbul had a tough time shortlisting the queens. They were judged on various parameters like talent round, swim suit round, national costume round, Q&A among others.

The stunning evening was hosted by Aayushi Dholakia, Miss Teen International 2019 and Wachi Pareek, Miss Teen Universe India 2021.

Jagdeesh Chandra graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and felicitated the new queens as well as the participants for their efforts and stunning show. While addressing the audience he said, “Pageants have evolved over time from providing a platform that appreciates mere beauty to now celebrating a woman’s dream, goals & calibre. From women empowerment to global issues, Miss Teen Diva presented by First India and Bharat24- Vision of New India, offer an opportunity to share viewpoints, uplift social causes and be a strong voice of the unheard segments of society”. He further added, “I congratulate Nikhil Anand and his team for putting up a spectacular show.”

This indeed has been one of the most toughest batch to judge, the competition was neck to neck. I wish all the winners and participants all the best for their future.”

Friends and family members of the participants and various who’s who of the Pinkcity including supermodel and actress Akanksha Bhalla, Ritu Sharma, Kalpana Gupta and Srishti Khatri graced the evening. Aishwarya Vinu Nair, Miss Teen Earth India and Ashok Raj Singh from Bigg Boss were also present on the occasion.

The contestants embody warmth, care and responsibility and effortlessly symbolise womanhood. Young minds are charged when they see their idols achieving the impossible and representing their kind so passionately and effectively.
