Summer training camp at City Palace

The Cultural Heritage Training Camp, known as Sanskratik Virasat Prashikshan Shivir, was inaugurated by Padmanabh Singh of the erstwhile royal family of Jaipur at the City Palace on Thursday. During the opening ceremony, Padmanabh expressed that the main objective of the camp is to introduce the rich arts and crafts of Jaipur to the younger generation. The camp provides a unique opportunity to gain knowledge for traditional artistic practices. He also expressed his gratitude towards the senior and well-known artists who have contributed their expertise to the camp.

The camp offers training in various traditional arts such as Dhrupad, Kathak, etc for a month. The camp is organised under the joint collaboration of MSMS II Museum, Rangreet Art School, and Saraswati Kala Kendra. Prominent artists including Ramu Ramdev, Hemant Ramdev, Babulal Marotia and Badrinath Marotia, Dr Madhu Bhatt, Dr Jyoti Bharti Goswami, Ashok Vardhan, Dr Nathulal Verma and Garima Saini are providing training in the exhibition.
