Winning 11-12 seats: GS Dotasra to high command
Jaipur: PCC President Govind Singh Dotasara has claimed a thumping victory for the party in Lok Sabha election by expressing confidence of winning at least 12 seats on the state. In the feedback given to the Congress high command, Dotasara claimed that the Congress will win more seats than the BJP in Rajasthan, even if it is just one seat more.
He said that 12 seats will be won and there is a tough fight on eight seats, where the Congress has the upper hand. After the exit polls of the Lok Sabha elections, Congress National Prez Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday held a virtual meeting with the Congress state presidents and Lok Sabha candidates of all states and discussed the possible performance of the Congress and India alliance state-wise.
Giving feedback fromState, he claimed that party will win Churu, Jhunjhunu, Barmer, Dausa, Bharatpur, Tonk-Sawaimadhopur, Karauli-Dholpur, Nagaur, Sikar and Banswara, he said that there was close contest Sriganganagar, Kota, Alwar, Jaipur(R), Jalore-Sirohi, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Chittorgarh seat & Cong has upper hand in close contest on these seats. He said that BJP is strong only on seven seats. “BJP’s senior leader Kirodi Meena is saying that he will resign on losing seats while Rajendra Rathore is saying that the time has come for him to retire from politics,” he said.
