There’s no dearth of money, both depts will have to work in unison: Vishvendra

Jaipur: First India News Channel on Wednesday honoured those committed personalities who have actively played constructive roles in wildlife protection, heritage conservation and publicizing culture. First India News Channel Head Dr Jagdeesh Chandra honoured them in the “Future of Tourism, Forest and Livelihood Conclave- 2022” which was attended by Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh, RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore, Forest Minister Hemaram Choudhary, Principal Secretary-Tourism Gayatri Rathore, HoFF DN Pandey, former minister Gajendra Singh Khinwsar, Mayor of Jaipur Heritage Municipal Corporation Munesh Gurjar and others.

Praising Dr Jagdeesh Chandra for his working style, advisor to CM and former CS Niranjan Arya said that Chandra is coming up with a national news channel on August 15. He also praised First India while terming it ‘BP’. He explained, “B means Bold, Breaking and Beautiful and ‘P’ means Progressive and Pattiyon ka Dhamal’. Arya quipped that this ‘BP’ increases and decreases ‘BP’ (blood pressure) of many people including politicians. Congratulating First India for the event, Hemaram Choudhary said that there is a great need for such events today. He said, “There are four tiger reserves in Rajasthan and the fourth one & the latest reserve was started with CM’s efforts. Speaking during the programme, Vishvendra Singh said that the state government will introduce a new tourism policy. There is no dearth of money in Tourism, but both the departments (Forest and Tourism) will have to work together. RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore called Dr Jagdeesh Chandra CMD of two channels in his address. He said that the current situation in the world is extremely dangerous. In the middle of his speech, Rathore drew Dr Jagdeesh Chandra’s attention towards the threat of global warming. Munesh Gurjar also addressed the event.
