Bihar's Preyansh, Prince and Jayshree Make State Proud with Gold Medal Wins

The State Karate Association of Bihar, under the aegis of the East India Karate Association, successfully hosted the 4th East India Karate Championship 2024 in Patna. The event, held from 28th & 29th September, saw participation from over 500 karatekas from different states of East India. The championship was a grand success,  Preyansh and Prince Kumar winning gold from Darbhanga for Bihar in the Cadet category, and Jayshree won gold in Senior Category.

The 4th East India Karate Championship 2024 was a highly anticipated event, with karatekas from all over East India showcasing their skills and competing for the top spot. The championship was organized by the "East India Karate Association" hosted by "State Karate Association of Bihar" the aim of promoting and nurturing the sport of karate in the state. Under the guidance of the National Federation Karate India Organisation, the championship was a platform for young karatekas to showcase their talent and compete at a national level.

The two-day event witnessed intense competition in various categories, including Kumite and Kata. The highlight of the championship was the performance of Bihar's Preyansh and Prince Kumar, who won gold in the Cadet category and in Senior Categories Jay Shree won Gold and Chandni Kumari, Amardeep Kumar, Ankit Kumar Jha won Silver & Shabana Perween won Bronze under the coaching of Mukesh Mishra. The young karatekas from Darbhanga displayed exceptional skills and techniques, making the state proud. The State Karate Association of Bihar expressed their delight and congratulated the winners on their remarkable achievement.
