Secretariat canteen: Compromised hygiene, leaking roof and whatnot!

Jaipur: The Department of Personnel took cognisance after the complaint of insects found in the food in the Secretariat Employees Union canteen. The Personnel Department and Registrar inspected the Secretariat Employees Union Assistant, Employees Union and other canteens on Wednesday. During this, the team admitted that the roof is leaking in the canteen and negligence has also been done in cleanliness.

Five canteens in the secretariat have been allotted to the unions and are running under the supervision of the DoP. The tea and snacks for ministers’ meetings are sent from these canteens. The quality of tea and snacks is getting worse. The officials directed to shift the canteens to the place of Saras parlour and they also inspected the parlour. During this, Secretariat Employees Union President Kapil Gurjar, Assistant Employees Union President Ramprasad Sharma and others were present.
