Jaipur: Former Rajasthan Cricket Association secretary Bhavani Samota, who has been expelled from the Sikar executive, will not be able to participate in the future elections of the association.
The officials of Sikar District Cricket Association had asked treasurer Samota to step down from his district association post after the RCA executive was dissolved.
But Samota refused to do so. Later, a special general meeting of the District Cricket Association was called on Sunday and all the officials unanimously decided to expel Bhavani Samota.
In this meeting, along with the officials of Sikar District Cricket Association, officials of the cooperative department and Sports Council were also present.
Former RCA secretary Bhavani Samota had declared the Churu District Cricket Association (CDCA) elections illegal saying that the election of former Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore’s son, Parakram Singh as chief of Churu District Cricket Association was not constitutional.
