Reorganization of wildlife board soon

Jaipur: The preparation for the reorganization of the State Wildlife Board has been made. The three year term of of 13 members of the present board completed on February 6. Process of nomination and reconstitution of the board started at the state government level. Ravi Singh, Deepak Apte, Hemendra Kothari, Dr. Rajesh Gopal, KS Gopi Sundar, Sunny Sebastian, Jaisal Singh, Simrat Kaur, Sunil Mehta, Dhirendra Godha, Surat Singh Poonia, Harsahay Meena and Nika Ram Garasia completed their terms.

Some new faces are expected to be included in the board in election year. Journalists associated with forest and wildlife conservation journalism, wildlife experts, NGO representatives, environmentalists, retired IFS can be new members.
