PPL IS ONE OF ITS KIND EVENT THAT HAPPENS HERE: ARORA

Jaipur: The ongoing Press Premier League 2022 steps into its final leg with Team First India winning the semi finals against Mahanagar Times at K.L. Saini Stadium on Friday.

The chief guest of PPL semi final was RHB commissioner Pawan Arora. Arora said that it is happy to be part of such a spectacular event which is one of its kind and he has never seen it before.

Arora also congratulated First India Team for the earlier performances. Interestingly, Team First India had won all the three matches in a spree which opened their doors to the finale.

The man of the match for the semi finals was Bharat Dixit who took 4 wickets and scored 54 runs in 38 balls. Another magnificent performance was delivered by Kartikey Dev Singh, scoring the highest of 78 runs.

Meanwhile, the team scored the highest score of the tournament with 248 runs on board. Continuing the superb performance, the FI bowlers made Mahanagar Times hold their horses at 174 runs.

The final match between First India and Regional Media Xi is slated for Sunday at KL Saini Stadium from 9.30 am onwards.
