‘PEACEMAKER’ CM Gehlot woos Congress leaders, calls for cohesion
Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot has taken charge of “damage control” and has engaged himself in convincing the Congress rebels. On Wednesday, he called the leaders across the state and explaining the situation, he said, “Ticket is given to a Congressman.” Gehlot asked for cooperation to support Congress candidate to repeat the government. He gave assurance of keeping “attention” and “respect” if the government is repeated. Now the last day of withdrawal of nominations is Thursday and in such a situation, the effect of Gehlot’s hard work can be seen on Thursday.
Meanwhile, CM Gehlot will go on an election tour of the state from November 10. On November 10, he will leave from Jaipur by helicopter at 10 am and reach Bali in Pali at 11:15 am. He will address a public meeting at Gangaur Fair Ground in Bali. He will hold a public meeting at Shiksha Theatre in Sumerpur at 12:30 am and thereafter, will hold a public meeting in Bhinmal of Jalore at 2 pm. CM Ashok Gehlot will r e a c h J o d h p u r from Bhinmal at 3:45 pm. Gehlot will rest for the night in Jodhpur. On Nov 11 he will leave for Bhopalgarh am where he will address a public meeting at Nehru Circle. After this, he will address a public meeting at Balaji Stadium in Lohawat at 1 pm and at Major Shaitan Singh Stadium in Phalodi at 2:45 pm, he will hold a public meeting.
