Major IPS, RAS transfer list in a day or two!

Jaipur: A small transfer list of IPS, along with a major RAS transfer list has been almost finalised and may be released on Sunday or Monday. While about one dozen senior IPS feature in the transfer list, the RAS list has more than two hundred officers right from junior to seniors.

The most important posting in the IPS list is of Jaipur Police Commissioner. Entire Jaipur police force is on its toes to find out who will be the successor to outgoing Commissioner Anand Srivastava and which responsibility is accorded to Srivastava who is one of the most competent police officer of the state. Meanwhile, a few ADGs, IGs and about half a dozen SPs will also be shuffled.

Through the RAS list, a major reshuffle will happen in the districts. Following the guidelines of the election commission, officials who have been posted in the field for the past three years on one post, will be changed. More than 125 RAS officials posted on positions like ADM, SDM, CEO (Zila Parishad), DSO and Excise Officer, are featured in the list. Posting will also be done in place of 18 RAS who were recently promoted to IAS.

According to sources, 5 HODs will also be changed whereas few RAS who are currently on APO will also be given posting.

There is word that a small list of IAS may also be released and one ACS can be given additional charge of two important departments. Two Principal Secretaries and two or three Secretaries are also running about for their transfer whereas one IAS who was recently appointed as Divisional Commissioner is also exerting all his pull to come back to Jaipur.
