JMCH councillors call off strike in leaders’ presence

Jaipur: The hunger strike by the councillors of Jaipur Heritage Municipal Corporation ended today in the presence of Ministers and MLAs. The councillors were annoyed by delay in forming committees in corporation. Ministers Mahesh Joshi, Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, MLAs Rafeek Khan and Amin Kagzi reached JMCH campus and ended the wek-long strike by offering them juice. The Ministers and MLAs assured them to get the committees formed following which, the strike was called off. The councillors said that they should not be deceived and the committees should be constituted. The strike ended before Mahesh Joshi arrived. Joshi said that committees will be formed soon. Pratap S Khachariyawas said that there is nothing wrong in raising demand & the committees will be announced soon.
