JDA, erstwhile royal family face each other over land

Jaipur: A team Jaipur Development Authority suddenly reached Sardar Patel Marg to take possession of a land located there. The team led by JDC Ravi Jain took possession of about 3000 square yards of land. Some members of Gadia Luhar families and others living there reached the spot following the action.

During this, JDA also removed the mesh on a part of the land. The land on the other side of the mesh was being used as a parking lot by a hotel. JDA also got the buses removed from there.

Soon after, representatives of the erstwhile royal family reached the spot and protested and also showed their papers. They said that the decree of the land which is being used for parking is in their favour. Zone Deputy Commissioner Anju Verma asked them to come to the JDA on the next working day to present their side. JDA Property board was also installed on the spot.
