DISCOM launches rooftop solar rewards

Jaipur: A significant initiative has been taken by the Rajasthan Discom to promote rooftop solar plants with the name Solar Plant Lagwao, Protsahan Rashi Pao (Install Solar Plants, Get Incentives). According to the Discom, the engineers who install the maximum rooftop solar in the field will be honoured. The Discom administration has launched an incentive scheme for electrical engineers. The incentive scheme was prepared under the instructions of Discoms Chairman cum Managing Director Aarti Dogra. The supervising engineer with the best performance in installing rooftop solar will receive Rs 30,000, the executive engineer will receive Rs 45,000, and assistant engineers, junior engineers, and feeder in-charge/linemen will receive Rs 10,000 as a reward. Every three months, the best performers will be selected from the Discom jurisdiction based on their categories.
