CM to transfer Rs 87.36 cr into 5.91L a/c today
Jaipur: The CM Ashok Gehlot will transfer Rs 87,36,56,750 through direct benefit transfer (DBT) in the bank accounts of 5,91,730 beneficiaries in a state-level programme of Dialogue with Palanhar Beneficiaries on Monday.
CM Gehlot will have a dialogue with beneficiaries through video conference in the programme that will be organized at the CMR at 12 noon. District level programme will also be organised.
The Palanhar scheme is implemented to ensure that boys and girls who come in the category of orphans, and other children who need care and protection are properly taken care of, protected and educated within the family. The person raising these children in this scheme is given economic assistance every month to arrange education, food and clothing for the children. CM Gehlot in the budget of 2023-24 had announced to increase the financial assistance in the Palanhar scheme to Rs 750 per month from Rs 500 given to children aged 0 to 6 years and the amount given to children aged 6 to 18 years to Rs 1500 per month from Rs 1000.
