Jaipur: Monday marks beginning of the BJP’s organizational elections, starting with the election of booth presidents. Elections will be conducted for all 51,735 booths by December 5. Along with the booth president, a 12-member team will be formed at each booth, including coordinators for “Mann Ki Baat” program and beneficiary schemes. A 33% reservation for women has also been mandated.

The coordination and nomination formula will be adopted in the process. To avoid any disputes, Narayan Panchariya, the state in-charge of the organizational elections, is moving the election process forward only after consulting all major leaders. First India had an exclusive conversation with Narayan Panchariya regarding the organizational elections.
