BJP’s membership drive begins

Jaipur: With assembly elections around in State, the BJP has once again started the membership drive. State election in-charge Pralhad Joshi, state in-charge Arun Singh and core committee members launched special membership drive on Thursday. Former CM Vasundhara Raje was, however, not present during the membership drive programme. BJP state president CP Joshi clarified Raje was not present because a member of her family was hospitalised.

The leaders launched the campaign with a poster. Convenor of membership campaign Baba Balaknath said, “We will take the campaign to every village and street of Rajasthan. We will strengthen the party by connecting every citizen to it.”

CP Joshi said that Rajasthan was leading in the membership campaign. On a question related to ED’s activism in Rajasthan, he said, “If there are thieves, then they cannot escape and if they are clean then there is no need to be afraid.”
