42 birds found dead in Meena Paldi, cause under investigation

Jaipur: On Saturday morning, 42 birds were found dead under mysterious circumstances in Meena Paldi, JDA Residential Colony on Agra Road. Promptly responding to the situation, Abhishek Bairwa and Yashwant Singh, along with workers from Raksha Sansthan and H.G. Foundation, arrived at the scene through the Jaipur Bird Helpline.

Among the deceased birds, six were found alive but in critical condition. These birds were immediately rescued and transported to Raksha Shelter for urgent treatment. Officers from the Forest Dept and Animal Husbandry Department also arrived swiftly to investigate the incident.

Following the instructions of veterinary doctor Dr. Lenin Bhatt, three of the critically ill birds were sent to Panch Batti Poly Clinic. Plans are in place to send these birds to Rae Bareilly for further examination to determine the presence of toxins and the cause of the deaths.

Rohit Gangwal of Raksha Sansthan suggested that the birds may have ingested pesticides or poisonous grains, but the exact cause will be confirmed only after the examination reports are received.
