18th G20 Summit: Biden ‘excited’, Xi’s ‘no-show’
New Delhi: US President Joe Biden on Monday said he’s looking forward to his India visit for the G20 summit in New Delhi on September 9 & 10. He will participate in a bilateral meeting with PM Narendra Modi on September 8 on the sidelines of the summit. Biden will ‘reaffirm US commitment to the G20’ and will also speak about a range of issues, including the social effects of Russia’s war in Ukraine, the White House said last week. The US President will travel to India on September 7. Biden also expressed disappointment over Chinese President Xi Jinping not attending G20 summit.
