Leopard attacks an elderly man, local community on edge

Gogunda (Udaipur): A leopard attacked an old man in Modi’s Kakan Ka Guda, in Gogunda, Udaipur. Mohan Lal Gameti was attacked while he was cutting grass in the fields at a distance from his house.

The leopard, however, ran away when Gemati screamed. People working in the fields nearby rushed to save him.

On receiving information, former Modi Sarpanch Prahlad Singh Jhala also reached the spot. In another incident, a leopard tried to attack a woman and her son in Rathod ka Guda in Gogunda of Udaipur. Naresh Bharti along with his mother was out to graze the cattle on the hill near a drain when the leopard attacked them The leopard, however, disappeared when the two cried for help and people rushed to the spot.
