I started with wiping vomit off stall floors: Raveena Tandon on her career

Mumbai (Maharashtra): The success of KGF: Chapter 2 is not small and being praised for a role in the film is like a cherry on the top. This is the reality of actress Raveena Tandon who is not only enjoying the success of her film but getting a lot of praise for her role as Prime Minister Ramika Sen. While talking about her vast career, the actress had revealed that even after belonging to a filmy background, her career start wasn’t smooth as one should think.

In an interview with Mid-Day, the actress said that she started as an intern at filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar’s office at the age of 15 even after being the daughter of filmmaker Ravi Tandon. “I did start from cleaning the studio floors to wiping off vomit from the stall’s floors and studio floors and stuff, and I did assist Prahlad Kakkar I think straight out of 10th Standard”, the actress revealed.

She further added that she was even asked to come in front of the camera which she strongly had denied at the time. “Even at that time they used to say what are you doing behind the screen, you have to be in front of the screen, that is what's meant for you and I would be like 'no no, me, an actress? Never.' So, I am in this industry actually by default, never grew up thinking that I am going to be an actor,” the Andaz Apna Apna actress revealed.

KGF: 2 has been a critical and commercial success and stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in main and pivotal roles.
