Haryana CM Saini registers victory from Ladwa Assembly; thanks public "whole-heartedly"

Kurukshetra (Haryana): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini secured victory from the Ladwa assembly constituency with a margin of 16,054 votes, according to data from the Election Commission. Saini triumphed over Congress candidate Mewa Singh and independent candidate Vikramjeet Singh Cheema.

Saini expressed his gratitude, thanking the 2.80 crore people of Haryana "wholeheartedly," stating that the public had once again endorsed the BJP's work for a third time.

He attributed the victory to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"I want to thank the 2.80 crore people of Haryana for endorsing the BJP's work for the third time. I thank them wholeheartedly. This victory is solely due to PM Modi. Under his leadership, we are progressing. He spoke to me and gave his blessings. I had faith that the poor, farmers, and the youth of Haryana would support me, and with this belief, I was confident that the BJP would win the election for the third time," Saini said.

Following his win, Saini announced that he would offer prayers to Lord Krishna at Jyotisar temple.

"I will collect the certificate and then offer prayers to Lord Krishna at Jyotisar temple. The 2.80 crore people of Haryana have chosen this government, and we will continue to move forward under the leadership of PM Modi," Saini added.

As the BJP approaches the majority mark and heads towards a third consecutive win in the Haryana assembly, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar attributed the party's success to the public and BJP workers, emphasising that the work done by the BJP for Haryana's wrestlers, farmers, and youth could not have been achieved by the Congress.

"The issue at hand was the work we have done for Haryana's wrestlers, farmers, and youth, which Congress could never accomplish. I want to say that the credit for this victory goes to our party workers and the people of the state. The public has endorsed our victory, and the credit goes to them and the workers of the party," Khattar said.

According to the latest update from the Election Commission website, BJP candidates have won 29 seats and are leading in 20 of the total 90 Assembly seats in Haryana. The Congress has won 28 seats and is leading in 8. Two independent candidates have also won their respective seats.
