3 labourers die, 1 injured as govt school wall collapses
Three workers died and another was injured in an incident of wall collapse in Jalore district on Thursday.
Police said that the incident took place in Poshana village in Sayla police station area where construction work was going on in the Government Higher Secondary School.
On Thursday morning, a wall of the building under construction collapsed. Four workers working there were buried under the debris.
They were rescued and rushed to a hospital where Mohan Lal, Virma Ram and Bhaira Ram died. The condition of injured Jagdish is out of danger.
Dist SP Gyanchand Yadav inspected the accident site. He said that necessary action will be taken after investigation.
Notably, tenders were done for making two rooms and contractor had started the work recently.
According to the rules, work cannot be started without an engineer and layout on a technical basis. The exemption given by the JE to build A library and another room and allowing work to start became the cause of the accident
