Abu Dhabi/Paris/New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed AI Nahyan in Abu Dhabi to further deepen the multifaceted bilateral ties. During his meeting with UAE President, Modi said that he is very glad to come to Abu Dhabi.
PM Modi hailed India’s growing business ties with UAE and said that the two nations have agreed to settle trade in local currencies, adding, the agreement to use local currency will boost bilateral trade and investments. India and UAE agreed to promote the use of local currencies for cross-border transactions and to interlink the UPI with the Gulf country’s IPP.
