Woman, son found dead in suspicious circumstances; father-in-law, husband held

Bharatpur: A ninemonth-old toddler and his mother were found dead under suspicious circumstances in Chiksana police station area of Bharatpur on Friday.

Bharatpur: A ninemonth-old toddler and his mother were found dead under suspicious circumstances in Chiksana police station area of Bharatpur on Friday.

The incident is from Saithra village of Chiksana police station area. In complaint, woman’s father said that he had got his daughter married to Digambar in 2020 and had spent Rs 8 lakh on wedding. But Digambar’s family asked for dowry after marriage. When their demand was not met, they began assaulting her.

The woman told her family about the atrocities committed by her in-laws.
