What I say holds value & I’ll continue to serve Rajasthan till my last breath: Gehlot
Bikaner: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, who reached Bikaner on Saturday to observe the ongoing Rural Olympic games addressed the media and reiterated that since he is from the state, he can not get away from it and that till his last breath he will continue to serve Rajasthan.
Even as his fate as the CM of Rajasthan hangs in the balance, her asked the people to send suggestions about the next budget directly to him, hinting that he was there to stay.
“I belong to Marwar, I belong to Jodhpur, I belong to Mahamandir. How can I go away from where I was born? Wherever I am, I will continue to serve Raj till my last breath. What I say has some meaning,” he said.
Gehlot made it clear that he is not going to leave Raj and head out anywhere. This statement of his is also being linked to tussle over post of the CM.
Gehlot avoided the question of punishing the people who went to Manesar
Gehlot made an emotional appeal to the public and said, “They change the government again and again. I do good deeds. Even then you get carried away. Once the employees turned against me. We could not get in touch with the staff and they were angry. We accepted the mistake. Had we held talks, this situation would not have arisen that we would have lost the election. Then the atmosphere of Modi was created in the country. In Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh we were winning but lost, and in Rajasthan too. I am requesting the public that you give us one more chance. I am fighting for ERCP.”
