Union and State Ministers survey Alwar forests for eco-projects

Alwar: Union Forest Minister Bhupender Yadav and Rajasthan’s Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma inspected Purana Bhura Siddh forest for ‘Matri Van’ and Bhugor forest for a ‘Biological Park’ under budget plans. They directed officials to develop ‘Matri Van’ with public involvement. Yadav emphasised the park’s role in showcasing natural beauty and environmental protection.

He urged local industries to reduce groundwater use & improve quality. Farmer representatives, led by Bhupat Singh, sought assurances related to Sariska, satisfied with Yadav’s promise to address issues in a Delhi meeting.
