Two held for cheating RBL Bank of Rs 9 cr in Jodhpur
Jodhpur: On information of PHQ CID Crime Branch Special Team, Cyber Station Police of Jodhpur district on Saturday arrested two accused of fraud of Rs 9 crore with RBL Bank. The accused, Himanshu Prajapat (22) and Sachin Rathod (26) are residents of Jodhpur.
ADG Crime Dinesh MN said that in August, a case was registered in regarding cyber fraud of Rs 9 crore. The credit card holders of bank had hacked the bank server and withdrawn cash from bank by depositing their money online. Six accused have already been arrested in the case. Inputs were received about the two accused. The ADG asked to confirm the intelligence input. A team of head constable Rakesh, Ravindra Singh, Mahesh and constable Naresh was formed and on Saturday, the two were arrested by Cyber Police Jodhpur.
