Toll worker run over by truck in Dausa, driver flees

Dausa: A toll worker died after being hit by a truck on Saturday at Titoli toll plaza in Nangal Rajawatan area of Dausa.

The truck driver allegedly tried to break a barrier and when the toll worker tried to stop him, he was run over. After the incident, angry toll workers sat on a dharna with the dead body and demanded a compensation of Rs 10 lakh.

Deceased Ashish Kumar was from Madhya Pradesh. Nangal police reached the spot. The deceased was employed at Titoli toll plaza for the last six months. CCTV video of the accident has also surfaced. It shows the truck at the toll. Police are trying to convince the protesters.
