‘TECHNOLOGY KEY TO EMPOWER FARMERS’
Bharatpur: Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) Jayant Chaudhary addressed the youth and farmers through a public skill dialogue at the Nagar Vikas Nyas Auditorium on Sunday and flagged off the Kaushal Rath to be run in Bharatpur by the ministry at the function.
Chaudhary said that there will be 15 computers in Kaushal Rath, through which the trainers will provide skill upgradation and training to the youth and employment related information. He called upon people to take advantage of schemes being run for farmers and youth. He demanded that Bharatpur be taken out of NCR.
In his address, Chaudhary said that technology can benefit youths and farmers.
“65 lakh farmers in the state have directly benefited from PM Samman Nidhi Yojana. Youths across the country are being benefited through PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Yojana and ITI. They are being made self-reliant. Private sector educational institutions are focusing on skill development of the youth and they will be trained accordingly,” he said.
