Smuggler shot dead by cops in Barmer, 1 hurt
Barmer: A wanted smuggler was shot dead in a police encounter in Barmer while another one got injured. Incident took place on Friday under Gida police station area here. Following an input, Jodhpur Rural police and special team started chasing 2 wanted accused. At Chibi village area, smugglers made fire on police. In retaliatory action police also started firing. Both the smugglers got severe injuries in encounter.
