Shekhawats’s entry into sports body

Bhilwara: Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has made an entry into the sports associations of the state. He was unopposed elected the president of the Rajasthan Badminton Association elections of which were held in Bhilwara on Sunday.

KK Sharma was elected unopposed as the secretary and Chun Singh as treasurer. An executive committee of 21 members was formed in the election.

Sharma told the media that in the coming times, on the lines of IPL, the tournament will be organised to help the players financially.
