Shekhawat reviews law and order in Jodhpur, stresses action on pending cases
Jodhpur: During his visit to Jodhpur, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, in his capacity as a Member of Parliament, reviewed law and order. At the Circuit House, he met with senior police officers, including Jodhpur Police Commissioner Rajendra Singh and IG Vikas Kumar of Jodhpur Range. Their discussions centered on crime prevention and regular patrolling.
Shekhawat has been touring his parliamentary constituency for the past three days, addressing various issues and promising solutions. In his meetings with police officials, he stressed the importance of swift and impartial action on pending cases. Known for his proactive approach, Shekhawat has consistently conducted such reviews, even during his tenure as Agriculture Minister and Jal Shakti Minister.
Recently, he commented on incidents involving women, vowing to strengthen law and order. The meeting aligned with that commitment. Additionally, Shekhawat held a threehour public hearing to address grievances and had a closed-door meeting with the Jodhpur District Collector to discuss development projects and gather feedback. After giving instructions on the received complaints, he left for New Delhi.
