Shekhawat accuses Gehlot of misusing resources
Jodhpur: Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat launched a scathing attack on former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot following a clean chit from the High Court in the Sanjivani case, while claiming that Gehlot has a longstanding habit of implicating his rivals. He said that Gehlot’s true political motives have been revealed again. He accused ex-CM of misusing govt resources for his political gain.
Talking to reporters during a visit to Jodhpur, Shekhawat stated that Gehlot had tried repeatedly to tarnish his and his family’s reputation, using inappropriate language about his deceased mother. When asked about a defamation suit, Shekhawat noted that there is already an ongoing case which he filed in Delhi regarding the derogatory remarks made about his mother. On phone tapping issue, Shekhawat said that after six hours of questioning from Gehlot’s exOSD, details emerged about how the then CM tapped phones of MLAs, ministers and opposition leaders. He said that even a raid was conducted by the SOG to recover a computer of his OSD.
On the matter of investors in Sanjivani case receiving their money back, Shekhawat said that the process is underway.
