SHAH LEAVES JODHPUR WITH MESSAGE OF UNITY FOR RAJASTHAN BJP LEADERS
Jodhpur: A political picture emerged after Amit Shah’s visit to Jodhpur. In the photo shared by BJP state president Satish Poonia on Twitter, Poonia and former CM Vasundhara Raje are seen having tea together. The photo was clicked at the residence of MP PP Chaudhary. Poonia has shared such a photo after a long time. Other leaders including Chandrashekhar, Rajendra Rathore, Kailash Choudhary were also present at the residence and there was a group photo also, but the Picture of Poonia and Raje has become a topic of discussion. Both are seen smiling in the photo. Meanwhile, reacting to the allegations of Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his Jodhpur visit, Congress party’s Jodhpur South District President Naresh Joshi asked why the BJP, which is seeking votes in the name of OBC, is not declaring an OBC face as the CM.
“Satish Poonia was prevented from taking out a padyatra. Isn’t this an insult to OBC?” he asked. Joshi said that Congress gave tickets to 5 OBCs in 10 assembly seats of Jodhpur while BJP has 1 OBC MLA. “Amit Shah says that there was no loan waiver for the farmers, while the Gehlot govt waived off the loans worth Rs 14 thousand taken from cooperative banks. The state govt wrote several times to the central govt for loan waiver from nationalized banks, but the government is not giving any answer,” he said. Jodhpur North Congress District Prez Salim Khan said that Ashok Gehlot is known as the Gandhi of Marwar. “Coming to Jodhpur and making such remarks on the CM is wrong. The kind of language Amit Shah was using is condemnable” he said.
