Recruitment on 311 posts after two decades in RHB

Jaipur: Rajasthan Housing Board will soon recruit for 311 posts of various cadre. The exam will be conducted by India’s semigovernment software company, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), known for conducting the examinations of Indian Navy and Air Force.

Housing Commissioner Pawan Arora said that after several decades recruitment will be done in the division on such a scale. He said that the board will conduct examinations with complete transparency and fairness.

Arora said that 150 questions will be there in the three-hour online exam. “Sixty questions will be based on general knowledge and 90 on technical information related to the exam. Each question will carry three marks. All questions will be multiple choice and there will be negative marking. Preparations are being made to make recruitments online at about 100 centres in 11 cities of Rajasthan,” he said.

The Commissioner said that RPSC will conduct recruitment for one post of Programmer, 48 for Project Engineer (Senior) (Civil) and four for gazetted posts of Town Planning Assistant or Architect Assistant, six for Computer Operator (Assistant Programmer (L-10), 18 for Data Entry Operator (Information Assistant), 100 for Project Engineer (Junior) (Civil), 11 for Project Engineer (Junior) (Electrical), four for Senior Draftsman. CDAC will conduct recruitment for the non-gazetted posts of Junior Draftsman 10, Legal Assistant (Junior Law Officer) 9, Junior Accountant 50 and Junior Assistant 50.
