RBSE results: Girls shine in XII Science, Commerce

Ajmer: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) on Thursday night declared the results of Class 12th Science and Commerce. The results were declared by the Divisional Commissioner and Administrator of RBSE CR Meena. This year, the overall pass percentage in Class 12th science remained at 95.65 per cent while in Class 12th commerce, the passing percentage was 96.60 per cent.

In the science stream, girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 97.39 per cent as compared to that of boys with 94.72 per cent. Similarly, in the commerce stream, the passing percentage of girls was 98.01 per cent while the pass percentage of boys was 95.85 per cent.

Divisional Commissioner CR Meena informed that 2,80,010 students were registered in Class 12th Science and 29,045 students were enrolled in Class 12th Commerce. “A total of 101 students in commerce and 690 students in science got supplementary. In Commerce, 1,7043 students secured first division, 9,252 examinees got second division and 1,741 students got third division. Likewise, in science, 2,08,766 students got first division, 50,752 students secured second division and 387 students got third division,” said CR Meena.

The RBSE conducted the exams at 6081 centres. A total of 10,31,072 students had enrolled for Class 12th board.
