Raje does masonry work on Labour Day in Dev Nagar

Jhalawar: Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje celebrated Labour Day in Dev Nagar village of Jhalrapatan tehsil of her assembly constituency and wished the labourers. She bricked the pillars of the tin shed to be installed in Rajendra Dhakad’s house under construction.

The former CM also did masonry of bricks with cement, gravel and mortar. She even did the masonry of a one-feet high pillar. When the artisans and labourers present there extended their hands to help Raje, she said, “Don’t worry. This is a strong bond of people’s blessings and trust and it will not break.”

Raje said that the architecture of India is famous all over the world because of the skill and hard work of the labourers. “You give us a roof to sleep peacefully. You are the one who fulfills everyone’s dreams. Development is not possible without you,” she said.

Raje was accompanied by her son & local MP Dushyant Singh. Singh also did some labour. Rajendra Dhakad and his mother, Radha Devi thanked former CM Singh. Raje promised them that she would definitely visit their home to have buttermilk once its complete. Raje visited about two dozen villages and participated in mass marriage ceremony of the Dangi community.
