‘Pushkar to be developed like Amritsar’

Ajmer: On occasion of Guru Poornima, thousands of cow devotees took a pledge to serve and enrich the cow in the ancient Nand village near Pushkar on Wednesday. 

Addressing a program, Energy and Water Resources Minister Bhanwar S Bhati said that the state govt is determined to promote cow breeding. The grant for cow breeding has been increased for the empowering Gaushala in the state. CM Gehlot has made special announcements for the development of the gaushalas. 

The electricity bill of gaushalas has been halved alongside an announcement has also been made to establish Nandi Gaushalas at the district level.

RTDC Chairman and congress leader Dharmendra S Rathore said that the state govt is working with determination to develop Pushkar on the lines of Amritsar. Chairman of Devnarayan Board Joginder Awana, Chairman of Keshkala Board Mahendra Gehlot, Chairman of Genealogical Commission Ram Singh Rao, Vice President of Rajasthan Senior Citizen Welfare Board Rajesh Tandon also spoke in the event.
