Prioritise quality edu and implement NEP’

Jodhpur: Governor Kalraj Mishra has directed the universities to work towards keeping quality education as their priority and update the courses as per the global requirements. He also directed the university vicechancellors to implement the provisions of the National Education Policy at the earliest.

Mishra said that the university should also try to generate income at their level and make an action plan at their level. With special emphasis on employmentoriented courses, he called for working in universities to make the younger generation aware of the Constitution. He also inquired about the work being done to develop the Constitution Park. During a talk with the varsities VCs, Mishra took an update on villages adopted by the universities. He said that under the spirit of social responsibility, the university should select villages, which have potential for development. He instructed the universities to spread awareness about education in villages.
