‘One year of our government has been dedicated to welfare of women’
Udaipur: CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Saturday that strong & respectable status of women is a symbol of an advanced, prosperous and strong society and nation. “Keeping this in mind, one year of our government has been dedicated to the respect, security and welfare of women. Last year, the people of the state gave us an opportunity to serve, in which half of the population of mothers and sisters had an important participation. It is also said in our scriptures that ‘Yatra Naaryastu Pujyante Ramante Tatra Devata’ i.e. where women are worshipped, there Gods reside. Swami Vivekananda also said that the welfare of the world is not possible without improving the status of women,” CM Sharma said while addressing the state level women’s conference organised in Udaipur on Saturday.
