More than 15K people evacuated to safe places before Cylone: CM
Pali: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday conducted an aerial survey of the areas affected by cyclone Biparjoy in Pali district. He met the affected people at Pali Circuit House. Gehlot listened to everyone’s problems with intimacy and instructed the officers to provide quick relief and get compensation as per rules by conducting a survey.
After meeting the affected, the Chief Minister held discussions with the District Collector, Superintendent of Police, Sub-Divisional Officers. Appreciating the collective efforts of the administration, he directed to do quick work in relation to roads, electric poles and other essential services. He said that SDRF, NDRF, Civil Defense volunteers, Aapda Mitras have carried out rescue operations in a better way in difficult circumstances.
Gehlot during a Jansunwai at the Circuit House, said that all possible help would be provided to those affected by the ‘Biparjoy’ cyclone. The damaged road and electricity system in the district will be repaired soon on priority, he said.
